Superior Braking Performance
The operational performance and safety of drawworks rely heavily on the reliability of the braking system. For this reason, Highland drawworks are equipped with a high-performance dual braking system:
- Main Brake: High-performance hydraulic disc brake
- Auxiliary Brake: High-power eddy current brake (Eaton Airflex series available) [link]
In addition, both brake drums and brake discs adopt medium-frequency induction hardening treatment, which effectively enhances structural rigidity and greatly extends overall service life.
